Technical Support Engineer, Blockchain, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Deliver advanced (Tier 3) technical support, ensuring quick identification, resolution, and escalation of issues when necessary.

• Collaborate closely with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, DevOps, and backend developers to address code-level and system-level challenges.

• Design, develop, and maintain internal automation tools aimed at streamlining workflows and minimizing manual processes.

• Create dashboards and monitoring solutions to monitor system performance and track incident trends.

• Work with backend teams using Java / Spring Boot to troubleshoot and improve APIs and microservices.

• Document troubleshooting methodologies, root cause analyses, and best practices for the internal knowledge repository.

• Assist in incident management, ensuring 24/7 stability of Binance’s trading platform and associated systems.

• Continuously investigate new technologies and best practices in backend development, automation, and Web3 infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2-10 years of experience in technical support, DevOps, or backend engineering for large-scale systems.

• Strong capabilities in debugging and troubleshooting across distributed systems and trading or payment platforms.

• Proficiency in AI tools such as Claude Code for vibe coding and quality assurance; experience in writing AI Agent skills, leveraging AI for log and database analysis for troubleshooting and data analysis; adept in using AI agents for task management automation.

• Proficient in Java (preferred), Python, or Rust; familiarity with Spring Boot and microservices is an advantage.

• Practical experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledgeable about network protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP) and RESTful API troubleshooting.

• Understanding of MySQL and performance optimization; experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.

• Fluent in English and Mandarin to effectively coordinate with global stakeholders.
