Rust Blockchain Developer – Solana

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create and implement backend services using Rust for:

• - Managing transaction creation, simulation, validation, and lifecycle

• - Logic for block-building and transaction sequencing

• Establish and sustain integrations with both on-chain and off-chain services, which include:

• - Decentralized exchanges (DEXs), swaps, bridges, staking protocols, and RPC providers

• Engage with Solana-specific transaction models, signing flows, and execution limitations

• Collect and process on-chain and off-chain data to facilitate:

• - Analytics, dashboards, monitoring, and alerting systems

• Design and sustain APIs and internal services aimed at observability and operational tools

• Enhance systems for minimal latency, high throughput, and fault tolerance

• Maintain security and accuracy, particularly in cryptographic processes and key management

• Take part in code reviews, develop unit and integration tests, and ensure comprehensive documentation

• Work closely with DevOps, Product, and Web3 researchers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of production experience with Rust, ideally focusing on backend or systems programming

• Extensive experience in building high-load backend services

• Practical Web3 / blockchain experience, including:

• - Building and signing transactions

• - Interacting with RPC and communicating with nodes

• - Integrating across chains or multiple protocols

• Experience with Solana is highly preferred, with knowledge of its transaction model

• Strong comprehension of blockchain cryptography (ed25519, secp256k1)

• Hands-on experience with:

• - Redis

• - Docker

• - Monitoring and observability tools (such as Grafana or equivalent)

• Thorough understanding of secure, scalable backend architecture

• A sense of ownership, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate within a distributed team.
