Technical Specialist – Sleep

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance for therapy activation and titration.

• Aid in the optimization of the remedē System during overnight sleep studies.

• Train new clients on how to utilize the remedē System programmer and execute device programming.

• Collaborate closely with the Territory Manager to support all facets of the sales process.

• Inform potential customers, particularly sleep physicians, about central sleep apnea, therapy options, indications, and clinical data.

• Operate in a fast-paced environment with a constantly changing schedule.

• Offer remote technical support during scheduled on-call responsibilities.

• Manage a high volume of accounts in the Northern Central region.

• Travel frequently within the territory and undertake additional regional and national travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must live in or around Chicago, IL; Des Moines, IA; Milwaukee, WI; or Madison, WI.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sleep Medicine is required.

• Ideally, at least 2 years of experience in a sleep clinic or sleep laboratory.

• Significant experience in scoring sleep studies and interpreting sleep study reports is required.

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification is mandatory.

• Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) certification is necessary.

• Clinical sleep educator certification or an equivalent credential is required.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• A willingness to work collaboratively as a team player.

• Capability to take initiative and act independently when necessary.

• Ability to travel 80% of the time, including overnight stays.

• Must maintain current vendor credentials to access customer facilities.
