Technical Specialist I, LCFS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Program Manager in overseeing SCS's low carbon biofuel verification initiatives.

• Execute onsite and desk audits in accordance with relevant standards and verification criteria.

• Conduct data verifications for inventory records and data management systems.

• Aid in the creation of risk assessments and verification strategies.

• Complete audits within the established timelines and reporting standards.

• Document, convey, and resolve audit findings.

• Assist in crafting verification reports and verification statements.

• Maintain professional communication with both internal personnel and external clients.

• Produce technical audit reports that include calculations, interpretations of testing outcomes, and research findings.

• Perform data analysis and modeling tasks.

• Interpret analytical results and compile written reports.

• Provide verification services in alignment with SCS corporate and program quality expectations.

• Engage in periodic internal and external accreditation audits.

• Keep up-to-date competency records, training logs, calibration activities, and knowledge of program and scheme requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline along with 2+ years of experience in a related area, or considerable operational experience in a relevant field.

• Exceptional technical writing, observation, and data management abilities.

• Strong skills in communication and critical analysis.

• Excellent time management capabilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database management systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

• Strong focus on customer service and teamwork.

• Initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently under pressure in a dynamic environment.
