Technical Solution Architect – Azure, Enterprise Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee comprehensive technical architectures encompassing cloud, infrastructure, networking, integration, identity, security, and data platforms.

• Establish architecture standards, reference frameworks, roadmaps, and governance protocols.

• Facilitate architecture evaluations, technology assessments, and transformation projects.

• Create Azure and hybrid cloud setups, including landing zones, Kubernetes, containers, compute resources, storage, monitoring, and observability.

• Architect networking and integration frameworks, such as APIs, Kafka, Service Bus, Event Grid, ETL, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and load balancing solutions.

• Design identity and security frameworks utilizing Entra ID, SSO, RBAC, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and principles of Zero Trust.

• Work in partnership with business stakeholders, engineering, security, and delivery teams to develop scalable and secure technical solutions.

• Generate technical architecture documentation, including architecture blueprints, technical architecture documents (TADs), security designs, data flow diagrams, risk assessments, and implementation roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in roles such as Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect within intricate enterprise settings.

• Profound expertise in Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architecture.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes, API Management, Kafka, Service Bus, and Event Grid.

• Extensive knowledge of networking, integration, identity, and security frameworks.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, and Zero Trust methodologies.

• Experience in defining architecture standards, governance processes, design patterns, and performing architecture evaluations.

• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, and/or Draw.io.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Proficient in English is mandatory.

• Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
