
Technical Service Engineer β Switzerland

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
β’ Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks on laboratory equipment and systems to guarantee optimal performance and an extended service life.
β’ Diagnose and analyze technical issues in devices and systems, troubleshoot, and execute necessary repairs.
β’ Install and commission new equipment, providing training to laboratory personnel on proper usage and operation.
β’ Offer technical support and advice to clients, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
β’ Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports and technical documentation.
β’ Oversee the procurement, replacement, and inventory management of spare parts as needed.
β’ Ensure compliance of all equipment with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.
β’ Coordinate the delivery and installation of equipment in laboratories or medical practices.
β’ Assist the sales team by attending national trade fairs and conferences while fostering close collaboration with sales colleagues.
β’ Ideally located in the Freiburg (DE) or Vorarlberg (AT) region.
β’ Completed training in electrical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, or a similar technical qualification.
β’ Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and repair of laboratory diagnostic equipment, preferably in the medical technology or laboratory sector.
β’ Strong technical aptitude with the capability to swiftly comprehend and diagnose complex systems.
β’ Self-driven, solution-oriented mindset with a high level of personal initiative.
β’ Excellent communication skills for client engagement and teamwork.
β’ Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and flexibility to support various customer sites as necessary.
β’ Proficient in IT, including MS Office, service software, and experience with laboratory or practice information systems.
