Medical Imaging Field Engineer – Mid-West Zone

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of all Siemens Healthcare systems at client locations with minimal oversight.

• Provide prompt and efficient repairs along with comprehensive training for operators to guarantee optimal system functionality, leading to exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Oversee financial performance within the assigned territory, achieving or surpassing revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management budgets.

• Handle company resources including a vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

• Build and sustain appropriate business relationships with clients and colleagues, while accurately performing necessary administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic equipment is required.

• Proficient in utilizing tools and service test equipment, with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with all essential network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).

• A valid driver's license, the ability to drive independently both day and night, and a clean driving record are mandatory.

• Strong expertise in instrument systems technology, including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology; experience with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is essential.
