This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software problems on equipment at client locations, ensuring satisfaction for the customer.
• Support the installation, initiation, and testing of new equipment, offering guidance to customer staff on proper operational and maintenance procedures.
• Develop and sustain strong customer relationships through effective communication and diplomacy.
• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships.
• A two-year post-secondary diploma/certificate in electro-mechanical technology along with a minimum of 3 years of related experience, OR a high school diploma accompanied by at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems, with a thorough understanding of material handling methodologies.
• Capability to read and interpret technical documents, including engineering documents, operation and maintenance instructions, bills of materials, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient in writing reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and answer questions from groups of leaders, clients, and customers.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects along with potential phone calls and simultaneous inquiries.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Advanced knowledge of VFD functions, operations, and programming.
• Experience with Pressure Sensitive Labeling Machines preferred or equipment for Shrink Sleeve Labels and Flexible Packaging.
• Desired knowledge in HMI programming for GE Proficy, Exor, and Allen Bradley.
• Experience in motion control with Allen Bradley and Control Techniques/SyPT is preferred.
• Proficient in interpreting and troubleshooting pneumatic and electrical schematics.
• Capability to troubleshoot wiring and conduct I/O checks.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is an advantage.
• Experience with robotics is beneficial.
