Technical SEO Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Conduct continuous technical SEO quality assurance audits across the platform and resolve issues proactively to prevent any impact on search performance.

• Establish SEO requirements in collaboration with Development and QA teams prior to the commencement of development.

• Validate SEO-critical releases to ensure optimal performance.

• Test hreflang tags, localized content, URL structures, and regional SEO configurations.

• Evaluate structured data and schema, site architecture, crawlability, indexability, and overall site performance.

• Leverage automation, scripts, and AI technologies to enhance the scalability of SEO research, reporting, and issue identification.

• Analyze extensive datasets to uncover trends, identify gaps, and discover growth opportunities.

• Create and uphold reporting frameworks to monitor and respond to SEO performance metrics.

• Stay informed about changes in search engine algorithms and emerging technologies.

• Propose innovative technical SEO strategies to enhance performance.

• Collaborate effectively with Development, Product, Content, and QA teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical SEO.

• Practical experience in crawling large websites and analyzing log files.

• Extensive experience conducting technical SEO audits and quality assurance processes across multiple teams.

• Proven ability to maintain consistent SEO practices across various locales and markets.

• In-depth knowledge of tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, JetOctopus, Ahrefs, SEMrush, DataForSEO, SQL, or similar technologies.

• Experience utilizing AI tools and large language models, such as ChatGPT or Claude, for SEO research, audits, and reporting.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern website architecture.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Experience with large-scale or programmatic websites.

• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for SEO automation is a plus.

• A background in a B2C marketplace, travel, or ticketing website is preferable.
