
Technical Sales Specialist, Managed Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Lead and support Managed Services sales initiatives in partnership with the core sales team.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to identify client challenges, business objectives, and technical requirements.
• Deliver technical training, education, and assistance to internal sales teams to enhance their ability to effectively promote Managed Services.
• Develop proposals, presentations, scopes of work, pricing structures, and ROI-driven business cases.
• Collaborate with architects, operations, service delivery, and solution development teams to ensure proposals are in line with delivery capabilities and client expectations.
• Help build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with clients throughout the presales process.
• Gather and communicate client insights and feedback to product and operations teams to enhance service offerings and improve customer experience.
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and/or military experience.
• Over 6 years of experience in a technical presales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting role, ideally within Managed Services or IT Services.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend customer needs and convert them into practical service solutions.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple priorities and collaborating across teams.
• Comfortable presenting to both technical and business audiences.
• Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, quoting platforms, and proposal software.
• Knowledge of ITIL, service delivery models, or MSP operations is advantageous.
