
Technical Sales Specialist – Managed Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Drive and support Managed Services sales initiatives in partnership with the core sales team.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to identify client challenges, business objectives, and technical needs.
• Create proposals, presentations, scopes of work, pricing structures, and ROI-focused business cases.
• Collaborate with architects, operations, service delivery, and solution development teams to ensure proposals meet delivery capabilities and client expectations.
• Assist in establishing and nurturing trusted advisor relationships with clients throughout the presales process.
• Gather and communicate client insights and feedback to enhance service offerings and improve the customer experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or military experience.
• Over 6 years of experience in a technical presales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting role, ideally within Managed Services or IT Services.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend customer needs and convert them into effective service solutions.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple priorities and collaborating effectively across teams.
• Comfortable engaging with both technical and business audiences.
• Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, quoting platforms, and proposal software.
• Knowledge of ITIL, service delivery models, or MSP operations is advantageous.
