This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +4 more states.
• Lead and conduct impactful training programs using a diverse range of methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to optimize audience engagement.
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Business Development Representatives to evaluate customer training requirements and develop a comprehensive training plan to onboard, assist, and expand accounts.
• Provide training assistance for New Hire Onboarding, National Sales Meetings, Association Conferences, Tradeshows, and Customer Training Events.
• Support new hire onboarding and ongoing representative development by conducting co-travel assessments, delivering feedback, and collaborating with Sales leadership to ensure representative success.
• Deliver ABO training in cooperation with colleagues for ZEISS employees and customers as necessary.
• Contribute to the development of training content and materials to align with company goals and initiatives.
• Create ROIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training methods by accurately measuring, benchmarking, and tracking learning impact on the business.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• ABO certification is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in optical sales.
• At least 3 years of professional training and development experience, including group presentations, one-on-one coaching, and program management/administration.
• Previous experience as a sales representative is essential.
• Familiarity with the Challenger Sales Methodology is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce is beneficial.
• Proven ability to design and deliver effective sales training programs using skills in instructional design, program design & development, and training technologies.
• Experience in sales and/or marketing and merchandising to Eye Care Professionals is preferred.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of project creation while effectively executing and utilizing assessments for improvement as needed.
• Trainer certifications from recognized vendors that align with company and departmental goals are advantageous.
• Understanding of Rx lab operations is desired.
• Excellent facilitation management and interpersonal relationship skills are required.
• Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem-solving, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills are essential.
• Strong analytical skills and organizational diagnosis capabilities are necessary.
• In-depth product knowledge and a profound understanding of the market are required.
• Proven ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as in a team environment, effectively engaging at all levels of the company.
• Exhibit integrity and ethical behavior in all interactions with stakeholders.
• Maintain high energy, enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to action.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities, and strong project management skills are required.
