This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.
• Collaborate closely with Upstream Technical Sales Specialists.
• Advocate for the organization's downstream purification products and services within a designated geographic area, product range, or key account to meet sales and revenue objectives.
• Utilize SFDC to manage and document leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities, ensuring that all customer and opportunity information is current and accurately recorded in the CRM system.
• Meet Advanced Therapy Solutions product/group Spec Win targets.
• Engage in the design of Advanced Therapy Solutions products and services throughout the (pre)clinical to commercial manufacturing processes for cell/gene-therapy and DNA/RNA therapeutics.
• Create and implement a territory growth strategy with a strong emphasis on acquiring new business.
• Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through strategic planning and available resources.
• Establish and nurture robust, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, and executives.
• Work collaboratively across teams to expand shared accounts and enhance overall company sales.
• Remain knowledgeable about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to sustain a competitive advantage.
• Travel up to 50% within the territory to engage customers, advance opportunities, support marketing initiatives, and attend trade shows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
• Over 3 years of experience in the cell & gene therapy sector, with preferred laboratory or process-based experience using Monolith chromatography and TFF.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing experience; previous sales or public speaking experience is considered an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and/or other CRM systems.
