Technical Sales Representative, PNW β Treasure Valley

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
β’ Assume responsibility for managing the designated sales territory (Washington and Oregon Columbia Basin, Treasure Valley ID/OR)
β’ Act as the primary commercial contact for Ohalo's Founders Farm program within the specified sales territory
β’ Propel seed sales growth throughout the territory, overseeing the process from lead generation to closing, while meeting a sales quota
β’ Establish and nurture strong relationships with growers and other critical stakeholders
β’ Inform customers about Ohalo's technology, value proposition, and product performance
β’ Gather and communicate market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to internal teams
β’ Represent Ohalo with professionalism at field days, grower meetings, and industry events
β’ Travel frequently within the territory (~50%), including day trips and occasional overnight travel
β’ Keep precise activity tracking and forecasting using company tools and CRM systems
β’ Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agronomy, plant science, business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
β’ A strong passion for transformative change in agriculture and a genuine entrepreneurial mindset β viewing yourself as the owner of a small business contributing to a broader industry shift
β’ Over 5 years of experience in agricultural sales, seed sales, agronomy, or a comparable commercial position
β’ Experience with related crops such as carrots, onions, or sugar beets, or vegetable seed sales is highly preferred
β’ Knowledge of volcanic soil regions and regional vegetable processor networks is advantageous
β’ Understanding of grower operations and agricultural production systems; familiarity with potato production is a plus but not mandatory
β’ Demonstrated ability to develop trust-based relationships with growers and partners
β’ Self-motivated individual comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
β’ Openness and capability to travel extensively within the designated territory, including some required extended travel outside of the assigned sales geography
β’ Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
