This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Identify and cultivate customer, application, and growth opportunities for prepreg and advanced composite materials throughout North America.
• Foster relationships with OEMs, composite fabricators, processors, distributors, and both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Comprehend customers’ material, processing, performance, and application needs.
• Assist in material evaluation, sampling, testing, qualification, specification, and commercialization efforts.
• Establish and enhance a qualified pipeline of customer and application prospects.
• Aid in technical presentations, proposals, quotations, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate customer projects with engineering, product management, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
• Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
• Direct and substantial professional experience with prepreg materials is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of thermoset prepregs and structural composite materials.
• Familiarity with carbon fiber and glass fiber reinforced materials.
• Understanding of CFRP and GFRP.
• Knowledge of unidirectional and/or fabric-reinforced prepreg systems.
• Familiarity with thermoset resin systems.
• Understanding of composite material processing.
• Knowledge of curing and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with material testing and qualification.
• Insight into structural composite applications.
• Significant experience engaging directly with customers in a technical or commercial setting.
• Experience with prepreg manufacturers, advanced composite material suppliers, composite fabricators, OEMs, material processors, or technical distributors is particularly advantageous.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–70% across North America.
• Preferred location in the Midwest, with convenient access to a major commercial airport.
