This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to create and present customized technical solutions that meet customer needs.
• Facilitate technical workshops, proofs of concept, pilot projects, and live demonstrations to highlight the advantages of IQM quantum computers.
• Serve as the Technical Bid Manager during tendering processes, crafting robust technical proposals and responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Interact with enterprises, public sector entities, and academic institutions to pinpoint use cases and suggest deployment strategies.
• Convert customer requirements into precise feedback for Product and R&D teams to influence future development.
• Represent IQM at conferences, trade shows, and industry events throughout the APAC region.
• Assist customers throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial technical discussions to successful implementation.
• Travel up to 35 percent within the APAC region to engage with customers and partners.
• A PhD in physics, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or approximately six years of technical experience in the quantum industry.
• A robust technical foundation in quantum science.
• Proven experience in designing and executing proofs of concept (PoC) or pilot projects in customer-facing settings.
• Capability to articulate complex technical subjects clearly to both technical specialists and senior decision-makers.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to work.
• Confidence in collaborating with diverse stakeholders across various functions and cultures.
• Proficiency in English and professional fluency in Korean.
• Willingness to travel within the region.
• Experience with high-performance computing, AI, or cloud technologies is a plus.
