This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Identify and assess new business opportunities throughout Europe for cutting-edge motion control solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with new customers, partners, and target markets in sectors such as laser technology, semiconductor technology, and industrial automation.
• Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with OEMs, machine builders, and system integrators.
• Advocate for advanced motion control solutions tailored for challenging technical applications.
• Design and execute localized sales and go-to-market strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and enhance market presence.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements within the European market.
• Serve as a reliable technical and commercial point of contact for customers and partners.
• Comprehend customer needs and collaborate with internal experts to develop appropriate solution strategies.
• Assist customers throughout the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to successful project execution.
• Coordinate technical and commercial discussions with customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Support teams.
• Provide market and customer insights to aid in product development and business strategy.
• Maintain precise pipeline data, customer records, and sales forecasts within the CRM system.
• A degree in engineering, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, business development, or a related role.
• Strong technical knowledge of motion control, automation, or relevant technologies.
• Proven ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong negotiation skills and the capability to form long-lasting business relationships.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe (30-50%).
• Experience with servo drives, motion controllers, or similar technologies is a plus.
• A pre-existing network with OEMs, machine builders, or system integrators is an advantage.
• Experience in an international work environment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to sales planning.
