This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Comprehend customer business and application needs; deliver pre-sales technical and design assistance to prospective clients and partners through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Create and develop proof-of-concept applications to showcase product functionalities.
• Construct and implement containerized applications on Digi devices.
• Serve as a liaison between the Sales Team and various departments including Engineering, Technical Support, Product Marketing, and Product Management.
• Deliver customer training programs and technical sales presentations as necessary.
• Set up, test, and reproduce customer hardware, software, networking, and application problems in a laboratory setting.
• Cultivate and sustain robust technical relationships with customer and partner contacts.
• Contribute to revenue growth across both Business Units.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, or 4–6 years of equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on skills in Linux.
• In-depth knowledge of networking LAN/WAN principles, topologies, and protocols.
• Practical experience with cellular connectivity technologies (4G LTE and 5G).
• Familiarity with serial communication protocols (RS-232/485, Modbus, or similar).
• Experience in developing or scripting applications using Python, shell scripting, or similar languages.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, LXC, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in both English and German.
• Valid driving license and a willingness to travel throughout the EMEA region.
