Technical Sales Engineer – Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and ERP integrations is essential.

• Responsible for preparing and crafting technical presentations or demonstrations, setting up trials or proof of concepts to showcase our company's products or services to clients.

• Collaborating with customers and sales teams to comprehend client requirements and provide support for sales efforts.

• Engaging in research, development, and modification of products to fulfill the technical requirements and needs of customers.

• Assisting customers encountering issues with installed products while recommending enhancements or upgraded materials and machinery.

• Gathering and documenting client feedback and analyzing the data to formulate new sales and marketing strategies aimed at customers.

• Identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating these matters along with potential solutions to upper management.

• Training fellow sales team members on the technical features of the company's products and services.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience in sales within the technology sector.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service, and technical sales abilities.

• Capability to convey technical information to non-technical clients.

• Strong technical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Good leadership qualities and teamwork skills.

• Commitment to ongoing education in sales and engineering.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT software, including knowledge of databases, CRM systems, and programming languages.

• Solid understanding of APIs and proficiency in using Postman for testing and integration.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or HubSpot (CRM platforms).

• Knowledge of ERP systems and their role in business processes.
