This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Become a specialist in Samsara products, where cutting-edge technology (IoT, AI, computer vision) converges with the digital transformation of physical operations.
• Clearly communicate to potential clients how organizations similar to theirs utilize Samsara to overcome industry-specific challenges.
• Produce the deliverables necessary to close deals, including discoveries, demonstrations, value assessments, and proof of concept implementations.
• Guide installers through various scenarios, detailing best practices for implementing Samsara products and assisting in the creation of deployment strategies.
• Develop sample proof-of-concept scripts utilizing our open API to address real-world challenges faced by companies providing essential services, and document these for use by fellow SEs.
• Facilitate deeper integration within accounts (including integration, upselling, and cross-selling) by positioning yourself as a consultant for your customers.
• Serve as a connector between Samsara’s product and sales divisions, interpreting technical feedback and involving the appropriate customers in our beta initiatives.
• Promote, exemplify, and instill Samsara’s cultural values (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand globally and establish new offices.
• Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized 4-year university.
• 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles within pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support.
• Demonstrated attitude and capability for ongoing personal growth and development.
• Ability to sway stakeholders through your technical sales expertise and a robust understanding of business processes and change management.
• Capacity to simplify complex technical ideas for non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience in managing evaluations of hardware and/or software products.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with concepts such as technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation, and control systems.
