This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• We are seeking a dedicated and entrepreneurial-minded Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d) who will take on significant personal responsibility to foster sustainable customer relationships.
• Identify customer requirements and convert these needs into technical specifications for our development and product teams.
• Create technical documentation and assist in the development of solution concepts and proposals.
• Independently oversee RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes while coordinating the participation of other internal departments.
• Offer technical assistance to the sales team for tenders, pitches, and customer projects.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to implement tailored camera-AI solutions.
• Perform feasibility studies, construct prototypes, and conduct PoCs (Proof of Concept) at customer locations.
• Aid in the integration of our systems into the existing vehicle infrastructures of customers.
• Communicate customer feedback and market insights to product development to uncover new market opportunities and drive innovation.
• A completed technical degree, such as in Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a role bridging engineering and sales (e.g., Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, Project Management).
• Strong technical capabilities and the ability to swiftly understand complex technical matters.
• Relevant experience in digital camera technology, computer vision, AI, and image processing systems.
• Exceptional communication skills – capable of articulating complex technical information clearly and in a solution-oriented manner.
• Organized, self-motivated work style with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Proficiency in German and English (business/professional level).
