This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +4 more states.
• Lead and conduct impactful training programs using diverse methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness for participants.
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Business Development Representatives to evaluate customer training requirements and create a training strategy to onboard, support, and expand accounts.
• Offer training assistance for New Hire Onboarding, National Sales Meetings, Association Conferences, Tradeshows, and Customer Training Events.
• Aid new hire onboarding and ongoing representative development efforts by performing co-travel assessments, providing feedback, and collaborating with Sales leadership to facilitate representative success.
• Deliver ABO training in collaboration with colleagues for ZEISS employees and customers as needed.
• Contribute to the development of training content and materials that align with company goals and initiatives.
• Create ROIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training methods by accurately measuring, benchmarking, and monitoring the learning impact on the business.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• ABO certification is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of experience in optical sales.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional training and development experience, including group presentations, one-on-one coaching, and program management/administration.
• Previous experience as a sales representative is essential.
• Knowledge of the Challenger Sales Methodology is preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is required.
• Proven ability to design and deliver effective sales training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design & development, and training technologies.
• Experience in sales and/or marketing and merchandising to Eye Care Professionals is preferred.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of project creation and effectively execute while utilizing effectiveness assessments and making improvements as necessary.
• Trainer certifications with recognized vendors that align with company and department goals and initiatives are preferred.
• Understanding of Rx lab operations is desired.
• Excellent facilitation management and interpersonal relationship skills are essential.
• Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem-solving, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills are required.
• Proficient analytical and organizational diagnostic skills.
• Extensive product knowledge and a deep understanding of the market.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, collaboratively in a team environment, and effectively engage at all levels of the company.
• Maintain integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all interactions with stakeholders.
• Exhibit a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to action.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation and project management skills, are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
