Technical Recruiter – Defense Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement the complete process for specialized technical positions, including Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, and Operations Research Scientists.

• Work collaboratively with hiring managers and the Manager of People Operations to define roles, align on candidate profiles, and facilitate effective hiring decisions.

• Actively cultivate a pipeline of top-tier passive talent in the AI and Defense industries, focusing on candidates who possess (or are eligible for) security clearances.

• Continuously enhance the interview process and feedback systems to guarantee an exceptional experience that aligns with our brand.

• Assist in transforming our onboarding program from a manual process into a scalable, 'day-one ready' experience that ensures swift integration of new hires.

• Identify and address friction points throughout the employee lifecycle – from offboarding workflows to documentation and data integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruiting; preferably in a high-growth startup or dynamic technology setting.

• Demonstrated ability to manage the complete talent funnel, from initial intake through to complex offer negotiations.

• A strong passion for People Operations; you are motivated by more than just filling positions.

• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.

• Comfortable with uncertainty and eager to build processes from the ground up.
