Technical Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire recruitment process for technical positions including software engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, DevOps, and product managers.

• Engage in proactive and innovative sourcing strategies: extend your search beyond LinkedIn to technical communities, GitHub, Stack Overflow, engineering meetups, and referral networks.

• Collaborate closely with engineering leaders and hiring managers to gain insight into technical requirements, team dynamics, and the characteristics of candidates most likely to excel.

• Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies for each role, rather than relying on generic pipelines: every search should align with the specific technical field and level of seniority.

• Ensure a high-quality, personalized candidate experience that embodies TubeScience's culture while maintaining speed and thoroughness.

• Utilize data-driven insights to monitor pipeline health, pinpoint drop-off areas, and continually enhance hiring processes and time-to-hire.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical recruiting within a high-tech or startup environment, particularly in hiring software engineers, data roles, or product managers.

• Proven ability to independently assess technical profiles: you can evaluate a CV for a senior backend engineer, ML engineer, or data scientist without needing pre-screening from a hiring manager.

• Practical experience with technical sourcing channels beyond LinkedIn: including GitHub, Stack Overflow, technical communities, Slack groups, or similar platforms.

• A strong history of managing full-cycle searches for challenging technical roles in competitive markets.

• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong negotiation and closing skills: you understand the priorities of engineers and how to craft compelling offers.

• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
