This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Develop and implement specialized sourcing strategies for senior and highly specialized technical positions.
• Provide guidance to executives and senior leadership on organizational structure, compensation frameworks, and global talent mapping utilizing market insights.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for critical roles, including intricate offer negotiations.
• Ensure a remarkable and uniform candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Create and execute scalable recruiting initiatives such as referral programs, interview training sessions, and process documentation.
• Enhance the efficiency and quality of hires across the talent acquisition function.
• Cultivate and sustain a targeted pipeline of passive candidates.
• Position Kong as a preferred employer in competitive job markets.
• Carry out screenings and interviews to evaluate technical competencies and cultural alignment.
• Maintain job postings and candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System.
• Shape the employer branding and lead recruiting presentations for executives.
• Act as a trusted talent advisor to Engineering, Product, and Professional Services leadership throughout North America.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive, full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• At least 2 years dedicated to Senior/Staff/Principal-level hiring in a fast-growing SaaS or cloud-native environment.
• Extensive knowledge of the North American technical talent landscape.
• Proven track record of competing for talent against leading late-stage startups and publicly traded companies.
• Capacity to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to influence senior leaders and executives.
• Management of core talent acquisition programs or significant enhancements to the recruiting lifecycle processes.
• Proficient in advanced sourcing and candidate engagement techniques that extend beyond standard LinkedIn Recruiter usage.
• Ability to question ideas and sway others.
• Skill in simplifying complex information into a structured, digestible format.
• Competence in collaborating with HR Business Partners, Finance, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in recruiting across the EMEA region is advantageous.
