Technical Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Employ various sourcing techniques to discover and engage qualified veterans for automotive technician positions.

• Build and sustain a network of veteran organizations, job fairs, and military transition programs to attract top talent.

• Develop and maintain relationships with veterans to gain insights into their skills, experiences, and career goals.

• Partner with military transition offices and veteran support organizations to create a robust candidate pipeline.

• Collaborate with the Lead Recruiter and Program Manager to comprehend the technical requirements for automotive technician roles.

• Oversee and streamline the recruitment process, from the initial outreach to onboarding.

• Represent ERS at military career fairs, veteran-centric events, and online platforms to showcase our commitment to hiring veterans.

• Generate and disseminate engaging content that emphasizes opportunities for veterans within the automotive sector.

• Provide guidance and support to veterans throughout the application and onboarding phases.

• Work with internal teams to ensure a positive experience for candidates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently be in Active-duty Military and eligible for the "SKILLBRIDGE" Program. To qualify, military members should have 180 days or less remaining in service to apply for this position.

• Demonstrated experience in recruiting or sourcing, particularly in veteran recruitment.

• Familiarity with military occupational specialties (MOS) pertinent to automotive and mechanical fields.

• Knowledge of the automotive industry and the competencies required for automotive technician positions.

• Awareness of military transition programs and available resources.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with veterans and internal stakeholders.

• Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Collaborative approach with the ability to work efficiently alongside cross-functional teams.
