This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Generate high-quality talent at the top of the funnel through various methods including sourcing, referrals, networking, inbound applications, and innovative outbound strategies.
• Conduct thorough recruiter screenings that assess talent while fostering excitement about Canals.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to grasp hiring requirements, calibrate talent, and offer market insights.
• Guide candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring a top-notch experience from the initial conversation to the offer stage.
• Develop expertise across diverse functions and swiftly adapt to new roles and hiring challenges.
• Continuously enhance recruiting processes, tools, outreach strategies, and the overall candidate experience.
• Assist in closing exceptional candidates and represent Canals in a thoughtful, authentic, and compelling manner.
• Contribute to a culture characterized by high standards, direct feedback, ongoing learning, and teamwork.
• Ideally possess 4–6+ years of recruiting experience, particularly in recruiting technical talent.
• Demonstrate exceptional sourcing capabilities and the skill to deconstruct unfamiliar positions into effective search strategies.
• Exhibit strong interviewing skills and the discernment to identify standout talent as well as potential red flags.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to learn rapidly, retain information, and develop expertise across various domains.
• Strong prioritization skills and the capability to handle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Comfort in receiving direct feedback and a commitment to continually enhancing your skills.
• A high level of ownership, accountability, and personal standards.
• Confidence to voice improvements and a willingness to constructively challenge ideas.
