This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete recruiting process for senior and challenging technical positions within the Research, Engineering, and Product teams.
• Spearhead global recruiting initiatives across various regions, including the US, EMEA, and APAC.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to determine role specifications, levels, and interview strategies.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies to attract niche and senior-level technical talent both domestically and internationally.
• Assess candidates for their technical expertise, potential impact, and alignment with Deepgram’s core values.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience across different time zones through effective communication, thoughtful process design, and operational excellence.
• Utilize data and funnel metrics to identify challenges, enhance signal quality, and boost global hiring speed.
• Work alongside People Ops, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure compliant global hiring practices.
• Practical experience in leading global expansion initiatives, including recruitment across various countries or regions.
• Experience in recruiting for at least two of the following areas: Customer Engineering / Solutions Engineering, Backend / Platform Infrastructure, Product Engineering, or Developer-facing roles.
• Strong technical understanding — while coding skills are not necessary, familiarity with how modern software systems, APIs, and customer-integrated technical products are developed is essential.
• Proven track record in sourcing and securing senior-level and highly specialized technical talent in competitive international markets.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and assist teams in defining what "good" looks like across various regions and customer segments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities and the confidence to assertively challenge when necessary.
