This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +16 more states.
• Take full ownership of the recruiting cycle for remote AI and engineering positions in the US, managing everything from intake and sourcing to screening, interview coordination, offer presentation, and candidate closure.
• Develop proactive sourcing pipelines utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, community forums, AI practitioner networks, and innovative outreach strategies.
• Collaborate closely with co-founders and hiring managers to thoroughly grasp the required candidate profiles and translate this understanding into engaging outreach and precise screening.
• Ensure a seamless candidate experience at every stage, maintaining urgency and care: full cycle ownership means no handoffs, no gaps, and no candidates left uninformed.
• Represent Fairmarkit with credibility in discussions with technical candidates: you can articulate the work, the technology stack, and the reasons why this opportunity is valuable to them.
• Manage job offers, negotiate compensation, and successfully close candidates with confidence.
• Maintain a well-organized pipeline in an ATS and provide reports on key metrics, including time to fill, funnel conversion, and the effectiveness of sourcing channels.
• Contribute to employer branding and create recruiting content that appeals to AI and engineering talent.
• Offer insights on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and identify talent sources that others may overlook.
• Over 6 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in-house at a B2B SaaS or technology company.
• A demonstrated history of managing the complete recruiting lifecycle for challenging engineering roles, not just supporting portions of it.
• Direct experience in recruiting AI engineers, ML engineers, or builders of agentic systems: this is essential, not optional.
• Familiarity with technical communities such as Hugging Face, LangChain Discord, or AI-focused GitHub organizations, and the capability to source candidates credibly within these networks.
• Exhibits a genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, actively creates AI agents and workflow automations, and utilizes AI to improve recruiting results.
• Authentic interest in AI and emerging technology: while you don’t need to be an engineer, you should be able to engage in credible conversations with one.
• Possesses strong instincts throughout the full recruiting cycle, from sourcing to closure, with the ability to build a pipeline and manage it to a signed offer.
• Experience with Greenhouse, Ashby, or a similar ATS.
• High ownership mindset: you treat your searches as a business endeavor, not merely a checklist.
• Clear and direct communication skills with candidates and stakeholders alike.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean team environment where processes are still under development.
