This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create, implement, and oversee thorough testing strategies, plans, test cases, and scenarios for both new and existing applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, API, end-to-end, and data validation testing.
• Develop and sustain automated testing frameworks and scripts.
• Write intricate SQL queries and carry out data validation across SQL and NoSQL platforms.
• Verify data flows among applications, APIs, databases, file exchanges, and external systems.
• Test REST APIs, web services, and integrations related to healthcare.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to replicate defects, confirm fixes, and enhance overall quality.
• Assist with performance, scalability, reliability, and release testing activities.
• Advocate for quality engineering best practices, risk-based testing, and ongoing process improvement.
• Ensure that testing aligns with healthcare workflows and Revenue Cycle Management, as well as customer expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a software quality assurance or quality engineering position.
• Proficient in testing database-driven applications and validating backend data.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Skilled in testing REST APIs and web services using Postman, Newman, or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of understanding and resolving complex software, database, and integration issues.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Candidates must be legally permitted to work in the United States at the time of hiring.
