Technical Project Manager – Strategic Technology Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, execute, and sustain comprehensive project plans that encompass timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and strategies for risk mitigation.

• Establish project scope and objectives, ensuring they are in line with business aims and stakeholder expectations.

• Facilitate project kickoffs, conduct regular status meetings, perform post-project evaluations, and ensure timely execution of action items.

• Monitor project progress and deliverables through established project management tools and reporting systems.

• Collaborate with the President on strategic planning related to our cloud growth initiatives and select innovations for on-premise projects.

• Track performance against strategic milestones, identifying areas where progress may be lagging and implementing corrective measures.

• Develop and oversee project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on any variances.

• Ensure that all project expenditures comply with approved budgets and adhere to company financial policies.

• Provide quarterly budget summaries and variance analyses to leadership.

• Act as the primary contact for project-related communications across various departments.

• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership review.

• Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, creating mitigation and contingency plans as necessary.

• Assist in the enhancement of project management processes, tools, and best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing cloud, software product development, or technical projects is preferred.

• Experience in a cross-functional team setting, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Previous experience in healthcare foodservice operations or bedside nutrition management is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI tools and workflows to expedite the planning, tracking, and execution of technical development initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of cloud and software product development life cycles.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

• Proficient in project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or comparable tools.

• PMP or a similar certification is preferred.
