This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +4 more states.
• Develops, oversees, and executes the master project plan utilizing automated project management tools, processes, and procedures.
• Defines and evaluates performance metrics related to achieving specific objectives.
• Guides a multidisciplinary project team to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Comprehends the business implications of all projects.
• Acquires and retains a comprehensive understanding of relevant internal workflows and organizational practices.
• Applies best practice project management methodologies to guarantee optimal project effectiveness.
• Acts as the primary liaison for customers, subcontractors, and internal staff regarding the project.
• Establishes and sustains communication with customers and channel partners concerning their specific projects.
• Delivers regular status updates.
• Organizes and leads meetings with both internal and external customers to ensure project goals, milestones, and deadlines are met.
• Collaborates with customers and corresponding project managers and channels.
• Conducts scheduling status reviews with team members to monitor current status against planned progress.
• Provides continuous assessment and mitigation strategies for project-related risks.
• Notifies management of any issues that may significantly impact project success; prepares a plan of action to address these concerns.
• Responsible for the financial success of the projects.
• Maintains project budgets (labor and capital) and financial targets (revenue, margin, and cash).
• Analyzes project costs and conducts cost status reviews with team members and management to compare current status against planned progress.
• Ensures adherence to designated standards and processes for assigned projects.
• Accountable for monitoring and executing the change management plan as per sold contracts.
• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience managing complex deployment programs and/or software application deployments for external customers.
• PgMP or PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with Public Safety communications systems is regarded as an asset.
• Proficient in using project scheduling applications such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or similar tools to develop intricate master schedules and manage the project plan.
• Strong financial acumen, with proven experience in driving revenue growth and managing costs effectively.
• Experienced in project risk assessment and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Must be a self-driven team player capable of working effectively with general guidance towards objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills are required.
• Ability to think beyond the defined responsibilities and take initiative.
• Capable of collaborating effectively with regional and territorial management.
• Must be able to communicate efficiently with relevant peers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage projects, customers, and team resources across various time zones.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% or more of the time, including extended periods within the continental U.S. or internationally.
