Technical Project Manager, HR Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of HR technology initiatives (such as HRIS implementations, system integrations, and process automation).

• Act as a vital link among People Operations, Finance, Legal, IT, and external vendors — converting business requirements into precise technical specifications.

• Develop and sustain project plans, status reports, risk management logs, and communications for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the People Operations and Systems team to oversee the configuration, testing, and launch of new tools and workflows.

• Lead efforts in process documentation and change management to guarantee sustainable adoption throughout the organization.

• Detect gaps and inefficiencies in existing HR operations and proactively suggest solutions, utilizing process enhancements, automation, and AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 2 years in an HR or People Operations environment.

• Practical experience with HRIS systems (preferably UKG Pro, Workday, or similar).

• Strong understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies.

• Ability to navigate uncertainty in a dynamic, scaling environment.

• Exceptional communication skills — capable of conveying technical complexities to non-technical stakeholders without losing essential details.

• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
