• The software product organization within Ford Credit aims to thoroughly understand our customers to provide digital solutions that enhance their capacity to finance and own Ford and Lincoln vehicles.
• Ford Credit Platform Engineering is in search of a Technical Project Manager who specializes in overseeing the delivery of work through sprints and Program Increments.
• You will be responsible for managing governance and maintaining control over highly complex, cross-team, multi-project programs.
• Your role will involve assisting delivery teams to stay focused on delivering quality work while controlling external distractions and minimizing their impact on the core team.
• The primary clientele for this position includes engineering leaders, product managers, developers, and analytics teams within Ford Credit.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a related field.
• Significant experience in utilizing, managing, and supporting teams with Agile program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
• A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Certification in Project or Program Management such as PMP, etc. (preferred).
• Certification in Lean-Agile practices, such as Certified Scrum Master or SAFe (preferred).
• Experience in managing complex programs that utilize cloud-native technologies (preferred).
• Over 12 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a related field (preferred).
• Extensive experience in managing programs that support Platform service-oriented or SaaS-based solutions (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capability to influence the enterprise (preferred).
• Experience in administering and controlling usage access, workflows, and trackers in JIRA and Confluence (preferred).
