Healthcare Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Project Directors and Task Leaders to strategize, implement, and oversee project tasks, timelines, and deliverables.

• Create and maintain project documentation, including standard templates, workflows, and processes that align with AIR’s best practices and contractual obligations.

• Monitor project progress utilizing tools such as Jira, updating dashboards and ensuring the timely completion of tasks and tickets.

• Provide administrative and logistical assistance for project planning, execution, and reporting.

• Forecast and analyze project data, synthesizing insights into reports and visualizations to support decision-making.

• Track project benchmarks and performance indicators, identifying risks and suggesting adjustments as necessary.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate communication to guarantee alignment and accountability.

• Assist in resource planning and allocation to enhance team performance and achieve project objectives.

• Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to optimize project management practices.

• Ensure adherence to internal standards and client expectations throughout the duration of the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, education, psychology, political science, communications, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, data analysis, and staffing processes; or an advanced degree (MBA, MPA) with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

• Experience working on CMS projects, particularly with interdisciplinary health services research teams conducting program evaluations and/or program implementations.

• Experience in managing technical or data-driven projects is preferred, but not mandatory.

• PMP certification is preferred, but not required.
