Technical Project Manager for New Energy Large-Scale Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overall technical accountability for complex EPC projects in Commercial New Energy, encompassing rooftop photovoltaic systems, battery storage, charging infrastructure, and energy management.

• Supervision of on-site construction activities while ensuring adherence to technical and safety regulations.

• Collaboration with our planning and engineering teams to develop technical concepts and provide support during implementation (e.g., roof layout, string planning, LV main distribution (NSHV), transformers, medium-voltage stations).

• Leadership and coordination of external service providers, subcontractors, and suppliers at general-contractor (EPC) sites, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and budget.

• Stakeholder management focused on results, engaging with clients, grid operators, service providers, authorities, and internal planning departments to facilitate successful project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Renewable Energies, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a similar technical qualification is essential.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in the technical execution of EPC projects within the Commercial & Industrial sector, along with a solid understanding of rooftop PV systems, is required.

• Proficient in handling execution, string, and circuit diagrams (AC/DC) with the capability to verify their technical validity.

• Ability to detect installation and execution errors on-site, articulate precise technical claims, and consistently enforce defect remediation.

• Residence in Göttingen, Braunschweig, Lower Saxony, or the surrounding region is necessary to ensure regional travel readiness for day trips with evening returns.
