This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Collaborate with various team members in a matrix structure to ensure the effective execution of site activation within designated projects.
• May supervise site activation for assigned projects in accordance with timelines and quality standards.
• Assist in coordinating the flow of information between PPD teams, clients, and functional departments involved in site activation.
• Formulate recommended plans and guidelines for project implementation utilizing PPD tools.
• Monitor and assess project status to guarantee successful advancement and completion of all assigned projects while providing metrics to upper management.
• Conduct risk identification and develop contingency plans.
• Collaborate with PPD teams to oversee all financial and contractual elements of studies related to site activation.
• Work with the team to establish suitable controls ensuring that project resources and expenditures align with budgets, holding accountability to Global Project Management.
• Manage the technical and operational dimensions of the site activation component of assigned projects, including the coordination of feasibility, site contracts, and country teams in a matrix setting, while overseeing the assigned scope of work against timelines, costs, and quality.
• Participate in a functional area to identify and evaluate key issues affecting successful site activation, interpret data on complex matters, make informed business decisions, and ensure the implementation of solutions.
• Cultivate customer relationships in alignment with assigned projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
• Prior experience that equips you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (equivalent to 5+ years).
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Consistently showcases an understanding of key principles in cross-functional project management.
• Proven organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capacity to identify and address risks related to contractual deliverables and offer suitable solutions.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of cross-cultural awareness and adapts accordingly.
• In-depth understanding and appreciation of clinical research and development, including medical and therapeutic areas, phases, and medical terminology.
• Demonstrates the ability to lead, liaise, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of clinical development guidelines and directives.
• Exposure to biological fluids with the potential risk of encountering infectious organisms.
• Interaction with electrical office equipment.
• Required use of personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, and gloves.
• Occasional travel, up to 20% of the time, which may include visits to site locations domestically and internationally.
• Travel may occur outside of regular business hours and/or on weekends.
