This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Conduct regular one-on-one sessions, provide continuous feedback, and develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
• Encourage the technical advancement of developers by advocating for pair programming practices and distributing knowledge.
• Create a collaborative, innovative, and psychologically safe atmosphere centered on motivation and ongoing improvement.
• Facilitate squad rituals including Plannings, Refinements, Retrospectives, and Reviews.
• Eliminate obstacles to ensure a seamless delivery flow and the effective application of agile methodologies.
• Maintain a focus on continuous delivery, emphasizing value for both end users and the business.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to showcase results, gather insights, and enhance the product.
• Assist in defining, tracking, and communicating the squad's OKRs and key metrics.
• Balance technical requirements with business objectives and agreed-upon deadlines.
• Evaluate technical impacts, operational risks, and estimate efforts for new features.
• Work alongside Infrastructure, Security, and Architecture teams to identify the most robust and scalable technical solutions.
• Over 3 years of experience in leading software development teams focused on digital products.
• Strong understanding of Microservices, FaaS (Serverless), REST APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and expertise in constructing/managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid technical foundation concentrating on software quality, system evolution, decomposition of complex issues, and abstraction.
• Proficient in methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, with the flexibility to tailor them to the squad's context and maturity for continuous improvement.
• Hands-on knowledge of support/operations models and prioritization workflows for bug resolutions.
• Expertise in facilitation and problem-solving techniques, capable of leading investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Skillful in translating intricate business challenges into viable technical solutions.
• Agile in adapting to changes in direction and fostering continuous innovation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to transition seamlessly between technical discussions with developers and strategic conversations with directors and stakeholders.
