Technical Project Manager – Digital Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the daily management of a workstream within the larger program.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure the MVP rollout remains on schedule and progresses toward production.

• Lead the definition and scoping for V2, partnering with stakeholders to finalize requirements.

• Utilize tactical analysis to gain insights into the technical aspects of the work, beyond just the timeline.

• Monitor progress, dependencies, and timelines for a workstream functioning within a broader program.

• Identify risks and obstacles proactively and collaborate with technical leads to address them.

• Maintain alignment among stakeholders regarding status updates, decisions, and trade-offs during the rollout and V2 planning phases.

• Clearly communicate progress to program leadership and the client.

• Engage in full-stack technology solutions for banks, credit and payment networks, infrastructure providers, and their clientele.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a workstream or project as part of a larger, multi-team program.

• Experience in financial services, with knowledge of payments, credit, debit, or ACH systems.

• Background in software engineering, tactical analysis, or technical analysis.

• Ability to thrive in environments where an MVP is operational and the focus is shifting towards rollout and next-phase planning.

• Experience in scaling a team, including preparing for and integrating new engineers.

• Familiarity with AWS.

• Strong stakeholder management abilities, including translating technical details for non-technical audiences.

• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively across technical and business teams without sacrificing clarity.

• Bachelor’s Degree is required, or three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum experience required.
