This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead international development teams in the design, development, and execution of Power Conversion Products.
• Oversee project scope and technical specifications while securing stakeholder approval.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and communicate the status of projects effectively.
• Facilitate regularly scheduled team and review meetings.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Promote the use of best practices in product development, including FMEAs, risk assessments, and meticulous task tracking.
• Take ownership of overall project performance, encompassing financials, timelines, and scope.
• Coordinate deliverables among engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and services teams.
• Provide project estimates for business planning initiatives.
• Manage project risks through identification, analysis, response planning, monitoring, and control.
• Report on project status regarding schedule, budget, scope, quality, and risks.
• Mentor Project Managers and team members involved in projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering on LEAN and AI-driven productivity enhancements.
• Make informed decisions using both judgment and technical expertise.
• For positions outside the USA: substantial experience in Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering; knowledge level equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college.
• For positions in the USA: a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 additional years of experience in a Project Management role within a global context, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
• A minimum of 8 additional years of industry experience within multi-disciplined engineering teams.
• Proven experience in leading global development teams.
• Familiarity with GE-manufactured Power Electronics and/or Control Systems.
• Previous leadership experience in a matrix organization.
• Proficiency in using LEAN methodology and AI for enhancing productivity.
