IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assist with projects that vary in size, complexity, and duration.

• Collaborate with senior project managers to define project scope.

• Propel AI-first modernization initiatives utilizing Signet’s AI platforms and foundations.

• Create, track, analyze, and report on technology modernization metrics; suggest improvements or necessary adjustments.

• Maintain a current and precise CMDB system that reflects Signet’s application and infrastructure portfolio.

• Develop detailed work plans and sequence project activities accordingly.

• Identify necessary resources, including time, budget, and equipment.

• Review and adjust project schedules in conjunction with senior project managers and relevant staff.

• Prepare meeting materials, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other project-related information.

• Organize and schedule meetings, conference calls, and events.

• Work alongside business and IT teams on project onboarding processes.

• Ensure that deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

• Assess project outcomes against the objectives established during the planning phase.

• Carry out project closure activities, including final reporting, lessons learned, knowledge transfer, and documentation.

• Document, track, and monitor risks and issues effectively.

• Support multiple projects concurrently.

• Manage substantial projects of varying complexity.

• Deliver results in line with the approved project scope, budget, and timeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in project management from inception through to delivery.

• Relevant certifications are a plus.

• Ability to identify and address areas in need of improvement.

• Willingness to dedicate appropriate time and effort to tasks requiring attention.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering accurate and timely results.

• Capable of organizing and prioritizing tasks while effectively responding to competing demands.

• Responsive to customer needs and concerns.

• Strong orientation towards customer service.

• Ability to contribute to both team goals and individual achievements.

• Competence in managing large projects of varying complexity.
