This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the primary point of contact for incoming CRM/Salesforce requests and projects from various departments within JED.
• Organize, schedule, and lead meetings for scoping and requirements gathering.
• Collect requirements and convert them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and tasks.
• Determine when requests are considered “completed” and “ready for work” prior to handing off to the delivery team.
• Clearly communicate scope and timeline constraints while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct weekly departmental office hours to identify dependencies, deadlines, and resource conflicts.
• Oversee project tracking, sequencing, status updates, and the Asana delivery board.
• Participate in daily standups, backlog refinement sessions, and sprint planning.
• Coordinate the transition between requirements definition and technical implementation.
• Monitor and report on growth metrics associated with CRM initiatives, including donor growth, campaign effectiveness, and fundraising pipeline progress.
• Take ownership of the intake, requirements definition, and stakeholder management processes within JED’s CRM/Salesforce environment.
• Collaborate closely with the CRM Strategy & Operations Lead, the Salesforce Administration team, and relevant department stakeholders, particularly ACE.
• Report directly to the SVP, Chief Technology Officer.
• Highly knowledgeable in Salesforce, including its functionalities, limitations, and standard configurations.
• Prior hands-on experience with Salesforce is strongly preferred.
• Proven background in fundraising, development, or philanthropy.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management or business analysis within a Salesforce, CRM, or nonprofit fundraising/development setting.
• Experience in managing technology or CRM projects from initial intake to final delivery.
• Proficiency in gathering requirements and defining acceptance criteria.
• Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Experience in tracking and reporting growth metrics related to CRM data.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to maintain boundaries amidst competing stakeholder demands.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Comfortable using Asana or similar project management tools.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a technical delivery team.
• Project management certification such as PMP or CAPM is preferred.
• Salesforce certification such as Administrator or Business Analyst is preferred.
• Experience in a nonprofit development or fundraising department is preferred.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and Gearset is preferred.
