This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Create thorough project management strategies.
• Propel project advancement, ensure task fulfillment, achieve milestones, and maintain timelines.
• Oversee and distribute resources throughout the duration of the project.
• Recognize, evaluate, mitigate, and track project risks.
• Issue real-time notifications for critical challenges.
• Set clear expectations and foster accountability among team members.
• Address conflicts, encourage collaboration, and inspire teams toward shared objectives.
• Handle multiple challenging and intricate projects, tasks, and resources.
• Organize, prioritize, and manage time to fulfill stakeholder goals.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to PMO team members.
• Offer direction, constructive criticism, and support to enhance project management skills.
• Travel approximately 25%–50% to major RTX U.S. locations in Farmington, Richardson, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, OR an advanced degree in a related discipline with at least 10 years of experience, OR 16 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Planview, Jira, or similar tools.
• CORE or equivalent certification/experience, such as Six Sigma or Change Management.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Familiarity with waterfall and agile Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex programs and projects related to business processes and system transformations.
• Capability to lead and navigate change in a matrix and team environment.
• Ability to collaborate across different business processes and digital lines.
• Experience with agile frameworks and iterative methods in software development and implementation projects.
• Competence in managing multiple concurrent tasks in fast-paced and challenging settings.
• Skill in guiding and influencing various organizational levels, including executive leadership.
• Preferred knowledge of SAP and prior implementation experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications are favored.
• U.S. citizenship is necessary to access specific required systems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%–50% to other major RTX U.S. locations.
