This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leadership of external partner projects: Act as the senior project owner for integrations and initiatives involving our enterprise partners. Facilitate working sessions, oversee scope and timeline commitments, ensure technical alignment, and maintain communication with both organizations. Document decisions and guarantee follow-through, escalating issues as necessary.
• Delivery of cross-functional projects: Spearhead projects that encompass Product, Engineering, Operations, and Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts — including platform launches, system integrations, partner portals, digital initiatives, and AI tooling rollouts. Define sequencing, manage dependencies, monitor milestones and obstacles, and drive projects to completion with a program-level perspective when initiatives span multiple workstreams.
• Management of stakeholders and executive communications: Own the project status narrative for the initiatives you oversee. Clearly communicate updates to executives. Frame risks and decisions to enable swift action by senior leadership. Engage with stakeholders at all levels — director, VP, and C-suite — both internally and within partner organizations.
• Technical proficiency: Lead discussions on APIs, integrations, authentication, and digital workflows without requiring a translator. Assess scope and strategy critically. Challenge proposals that may lead to downstream issues. While coding skills are not necessary, credibility in discussions with engineers and product managers is essential.
• Establishment of processes, cadence, and follow-through: Create the operational rhythm that ensures project predictability — including milestone gates, decision logs, risk registers, and status communication. Tailor the cadence to the specific project; avoid unnecessary ceremonial processes.
• Facilitation of cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Programs/Operations leads, and Go-To-Market teams to align on commitments, clarify edge cases, and drive results. Facilitate working sessions aimed at resolving complex issues.
• Over 8 years of experience in technical project management, with a strong background in leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven history of managing enterprise client- or partner-facing projects from inception to completion — you have maintained relationships with senior stakeholders at large organizations, not merely attended meetings.
• Strong technical knowledge: Familiarity with APIs, integration patterns, authentication, cloud platforms, and digital initiatives. While coding is not required, understanding an architecture diagram and effectively engaging with engineering teams is essential.
• Proven capability to lead cross-functional projects across Product, Engineering, Operations, and GTM domains.
• Exceptional executive communication skills — both written and verbal. You can craft communications for a VP, provide status updates for the executive team, and prepare briefings that facilitate partner decision-making.
• Experience in driving digital transformation, platform integration, or systems rollout projects to successful completion.
• Outstanding organizational skills, judgment, and follow-through; demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously without neglecting commitments.
• Detail-oriented, action-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving outcomes.
• Nice to have: Background in insurance, utilities, IoT, or other regulated/partner-driven sectors.
• Experience with connected devices, smart home technologies, or hardware-software platforms.
• Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, or no-code initiatives.
• Proficient with Jira, Asana, and modern project management tools at scale.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
