This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Executing software installations, configurations, and commissioning (remotely and occasionally on-site).
• Facilitating training and enablement sessions for administrators, key users, and rollout teams.
• Holding technical and operational accountability for international rollout projects at enterprise and corporate clients.
• Organizing, coordinating, and overseeing rollouts across diverse locations, countries, and time zones.
• Structuring project phases that include schedules, dependencies, and milestones.
• Setting up and integrating devices, machines, and automation systems.
• Integrating prevalent automation and control systems (e.g., Siemens, Schneider Electric, Rockwell).
• Collaborating with IT, OT, Engineering, and Management on the client's side.
• Proactively identifying risks, deviations, and opportunities for optimization during the project.
• Working closely with sales, product management, and support to ensure ongoing customer success.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, project management, or a related field.
• Over 2 years of pertinent work experience, with a background in commissioning software, direct client interaction, and project management.
• Completed vocational training, technician qualifications, or education in automation, electrical, information, or software engineering, or equivalent practical professional experience.
• Proficient in technical project management (e.g., rollout planning, technical setup, customer management).
• Familiarity with automation technology, such as SIMATIC (S7, TIA Portal, HMI, PCS7) and other control families (Schneider Electric, Rockwell, etc.).
• Understanding of industrial communication (Ethernet, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, or similar).
• Excellent IT and networking skills, with a solid grasp of the IT/OT interface.
• Experience in the implementation or support of software or automation projects.
• A structured, methodical, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a confident demeanor when engaging with customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
