This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +18 more states.
• Oversee the complete project delivery for network and systems initiatives, encompassing planning, execution, risk management, change control, and closure.
• Organize meetings and workshops to collect requirements, document results, and sustain project artifacts, timelines, and tracking utilizing MS Project and Jira.
• Collaborate with engineering, NOC, IT, procurement, vendors, and leadership to synchronize technical requirements, dependencies, and operational workflows.
• Partner with technology, automation, DevOps, and IT teams to guarantee timely delivery and smooth integration of platforms, tools, and features.
• Convert network architecture and engineering requirements into executable project plans and strategies for implementation.
• Propel the implementation and integration of NMS/EMS and OSS/BSS platforms, alongside monitoring, telemetry, and performance management solutions.
• Supervise the development and deployment of NOC tools, dashboards, automation scripts, and API-based integrations for fault management and operational efficiency.
• Direct disaster recovery planning, testing, documentation, and escalation processes for critical network and system components.
• Coordinate sparing and high-availability strategies with engineering and supply chain teams to facilitate rapid fault recovery.
• Recognize and implement automation opportunities across provisioning, monitoring, and incident response to enhance scalability and minimize MTTR.
• Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting operational efficiency, reliability, advanced analytics, and AI-driven operations.
• Provide regular status updates and reports at the executive level.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Strong comprehension of IP networking, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and QoS.
• Knowledge of transport technologies, such as DWDM, Ethernet, and SDH/SONET.
• Experience with OSS/NMS/EMS platforms, network monitoring tools, and ticketing systems.
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Familiarity with NOC operations, incident management, and change control processes.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a robust technical foundation.
• Capacity to manage multiple complex initiatives concurrently and drive cross-functional outcomes.
• A minimum of 2 years of project management experience in an IT, telecommunications, or service provider environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification is preferred.
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Itential, and Python is preferred.
• Networking certifications or hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper is preferred.
• Availability to support after-hours and weekend work as needed.
• Occasional travel to Evansville, Indiana, approximately twice a year.
