This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of customer projects, ensuring that the defined scope, timelines, budgets, and quality targets are met.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, resource needs, and delivery milestones.
• Implement project management methodologies and governance frameworks to uphold control, accountability, and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the main liaison for customer Programme and Project Managers throughout the project execution.
• Facilitate customer meetings, technical workshops, project evaluations, and status presentations.
• Manage software development, system integration, and technical deployment tasks.
• Gather, document, and oversee business and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead change management and control processes to ensure all modifications to scope are evaluated and properly governed.
• Supervise release planning, readiness, deployment tasks, and post-release support.
• Provide technical leadership and coordination during troubleshooting, defect resolution, root cause analysis, and issue management.
• Establish and manage testing strategies, test plans, acceptance criteria, and test execution activities.
• Assist with pre-sales efforts, including solution scoping, effort estimation, project planning assumptions, and responses to customer RFIs/RFPs.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex, customer-focused technical projects in a software, technology, or systems integration context.
• Strong grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), release management, and change control processes.
• Experience in coordinating software development, integration, testing, and deployment efforts.
• Capability to comprehend high-level software architectures, system interfaces, integration dependencies, and technical risks.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Excellent abilities in risk, issue, and dependency management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in fast-paced delivery settings.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and achieve results without direct line management authority.
• Experience with project management and planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Capability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Experience in banking, retail, payments, or cash management/ATM solutions (preferred).
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies (preferred).
• Experience in managing third-party vendors and global delivery teams (preferred).
• Understanding of IT service management and operational support processes (preferred).
