This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Convert business goals into precise technical deliverables, milestones, sprint plans, and actionable tasks.
• Establish project scope, timelines, dependencies, resource needs, acceptance criteria, and delivery strategies.
• Oversee multiple projects or workstreams while ensuring visibility across priorities and deadlines.
• Detect delivery risks, technical obstacles, resource limitations, and dependencies at an early stage.
• Formulate mitigation and contingency plans for identified risks.
• Guarantee projects are completed within the defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage scope alterations through a systematic change-control process.
• Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release-planning meetings.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize product backlogs.
• Ensure user stories encompass clear requirements, acceptance criteria, estimates, dependencies, and technical considerations.
• Monitor sprint capacity, velocity, burndown rates, carryover work, and delivery predictability.
• Eliminate delivery obstacles and coordinate resolutions across teams.
• Advocate for practical Agile practices while avoiding unnecessary process overhead.
• Work closely with solution architects and engineering teams to grasp system architecture, integrations, infrastructure, and technical dependencies.
• Facilitate technical discussions, ensuring that decisions, assumptions, and trade-offs are well documented.
• Coordinate activities across frontend, backend, mobile, database, API, DevOps, cloud, security, and QA teams.
• Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, availability, logging, monitoring, and maintainability are addressed.
• Manage environment readiness across development, testing, UAT, staging, and production environments.
• Ensure the completion of technical documentation, deployment instructions, architecture diagrams, and operational handover materials.
• Serve as the primary communication link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Conduct requirement workshops, project reviews, demonstrations, and steering committee meetings.
• Provide clear and precise updates on progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, timelines, and budget.
• Translate complex technical topics into language that is accessible to business stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and escalate critical issues with the necessary context and recommended actions.
• Maintain decision logs, risk registers, action trackers, and project status reports.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, implementation partners, and other external stakeholders when necessary.
• Collaborate with QA teams to establish testing strategies, test coverage, defect-management processes, and release acceptance criteria.
• Ensure that functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and user-acceptance testing are appropriately planned.
• Track defects and ensure resolution of critical issues prior to production releases.
• Oversee release planning, deployment readiness, rollback planning, and go-live activities.
• Facilitate go/no-go meetings to secure necessary approvals.
• Coordinate post-release validation, production monitoring, incident resolution, and lessons-learned reviews.
• Maintain project plans, sprint dashboards, RAID logs, release plans, resource plans, and project documentation.
• Track project health using measurable indicators for delivery, quality, risk, and financial aspects.
• Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, vendor expenses, and delivery forecasts as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with organizational governance, security, privacy, compliance, and change-management requirements.
• Continually enhance project-management and software-delivery processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in technology project management, software delivery, or a related role.
• Proven track record in managing software development projects involving web applications, mobile applications, cloud platforms, APIs, or enterprise integrations.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and traditional project-management methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and DevOps delivery practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of application architecture, APIs, databases, authentication, security, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.
• Experience with project-management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
