Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning and comprehensive execution of software development programs and projects.

• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to establish priorities, define scope, and create work plans.

• Administer schedules, cross-team dependencies, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

• Facilitate clear communication across all involved areas and ensure timely project follow-ups.

• Convert functional requirements into technical specifications that guide accurate solution implementation.

• Engage in defining technical architectures and assist in integration and implementation efforts.

• Track operational metrics and advocate for continuous improvement initiatives.

• Document work plans, best practices, and standards for project management.

• Clearly and promptly communicate progress, risks, outcomes, and retrospectives to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing technical projects directly with software development teams.

• At least 5 years of experience in technology companies, ideally within a SaaS model.

• Over 3 years of experience leading software development projects with established schedules and delivery dates.

• Demonstrated expertise in agile methodologies and iterative processes.

• Experience managing complex initiatives and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficient with project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Roadmunk.

• Preferred qualifications include PMP, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile certifications.

• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Operations, and Support teams.

• Capability to influence and lead teams without direct authority.

• Experience in large-scale software development organizations.

• Ability to adapt in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities.
