This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee technical and operational projects, encompassing project requirements, deliverables, budgets, schedules, and execution.
• Assist with project scheduling utilizing Primavera P6, which includes data quality assessments, integration activities, and schedule evaluations.
• Facilitate project cost management through Cobra and EVMS processes, involving cost analysis, control, forecasting, and the identification of cost trends.
• Create and uphold project control processes and work products to satisfy programmatic and customer expectations.
• Offer technical guidance on costs and schedules while formulating innovative solutions for complex or non-standard project requirements.
• Work collaboratively with technical, business, and project stakeholders to guarantee that tasks are completed in alignment with established goals and timelines.
• Swiftly report unsafe conditions, equipment problems, or incidents to management.
• Engage in mandatory training sessions and safety briefings.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned to fulfill operational requirements.
• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project controls, including cost analysis/control, planning, scheduling, and EVMS.
• Proficient in using Primavera P6 for project scheduling and schedule evaluation.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Proven capability to work independently and advance projects or concepts from initial ideas to completed deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function independently as well as part of a team.
• Competence in managing confidential information with discretion.
• Experience with Cobra for project cost management is preferred.
• Background in project controls within a DOE/NNSA environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with LANL Project Controls procedures, policies, and processes is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders in intricate project or program settings is preferred.
